Contract Design Engineer Contract Term – 1 month potential for extension Hourly Rate - Negotiable Location – Remote Working Industry – Material Handling, Machinery Design, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Manufacturing, Lifting Machinery We’re working closely with a company that buy and sell material handling equipment, and are looking to bring their supply chain closer. This is a 1 month contract initially with potential for extension, they are looking for a contract design Engineer to reverse engineer and re-engineer their products. The role will be remote based and would require you to have your own workstation and CAD license in either SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD or something similar. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Update Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, and Apex classes • Assess and debug code written by others
to identify defects and improvements • Integrate to external data sources using OATH and Auth Tokens
• Work with Operations teams to identify process efficiencies through technology changes • Work with
development team to design and implement platform functionality • Playback solution designs to
business stakeholders • Manage and refine code repository archiving redundant code where possible.
Skills Required:
• Ability to write and debug HTML / CSS • Working with SKUID platform across
Salesforce • Ability to write and debug JavaScript including Angular Competencies: • Comprehensive
understanding of both Agile delivery and ITIL service management methods; • Strong and proven track
record in relationship building and internal customer management; • Written & verbal communication
